My name is Max Merrill, and I grew up in Northern Virginia. I begun to demonstrate interest in finance at the beginning of middle school. As I learned more about budgeting, investing, and financial decision making, I realized how little practical financial education was available to students. In response, I founded a student-led financial literacy nonprofit dedicated to making finance accessible, relevant, and actionable for young people. Through workshops, resources, and real world examples, the organization teaches students how financial systems influence everyday decisions and empowers them with the tools to build long term financial stability.

I am a high school student with a strong interest in finance and financial education. As Vice President, I work on developing content and address a gap many students face: not being taught how money, business, and financial decisions work in the real world. I help support workshops, resources, and outreach efforts designed to make financial concepts clear and accessible to teens. I’m passionate about equipping students with practical financial knowledge they can apply both now and as they prepare for the future.
